Following the death of Pope Francis, the current President of the United States posted an image of himself as Pope to social media. Edgy middle-school energy aside, he’s testing the waters—determining how far to push before we push back.

The question is, “why Pope?” That seems wholly unremarkable. Instead, we present the President of the United States as Christ, our Lord and Savior.

GOD IS THE AMERICAN BUSINESSMAN, not the other way around.

When we forgive unconditionally, the forgiven becomes our God. Perhaps, this is a much-needed rude awakening. Perhaps this is just more edgelord nonsense.
